Lovely Louis XVI style clock made of regule (Mixed steel) finely gilded. The clock is particularly well carved with a barefoot but very feminine looking young peasant woman (as Marie-Antoinette liked to dress up). The pedestal is in marble. The face of the clock bears the names and location of the clock makers: Blaviez & Le Cacheux a Chateau Thierry. The clock is in working condition. Ca. 1870
