very versatile, solid cherry drop-leaf table, 6 turned legs, Louis Philippe period. Ca. 1830  Three new leaves were veneered with cherry wood  and stained to match the table.  The table can be used as a console with dropped leaves and a depth of 25".  it can open up to a full size, 88 1/4' long dining table with the three added leaves and can then sit 10 people.
